Lure Makers Supplies
Sodium
Benzoate
Stops
bait from decomposing after reaching desired stage
of taint.
Use 2 tablespoons per pint or 1 cup per gallon to
preserve fresh or
aged meat or fish baits.
Glycerine Oil (High Grade)
Glycerine
is not a preservative, it is used to stabilize &
blend.
Also
used as an antifreeze when mixed with glands. It is mixed
with
urine to add body, prevent evaporation when exposed
to
the air,
and prevent freezing.
Propylene
Glycol
Similar
uses as Glycerine Oil. Used for anti-freeze in urines
and as
tincturing ingredient.
Methyl
Paraben
Superior
preservative. Best at keeping the true odor of meat,
fish & glands. Methyl Paraben is hard to find and even
harder
to find at a price that is not prohibitive. This is a superior
product at a real value. Use at the same ratio
as Sodium Benzoate.
Zinc
Valerate Powder
Used
in the same manner as Sodium Benzoate by lure and bait
makers, except it's main function is to stimulate odors during
the aging process and stabilize them when in use.
Use 1/2 teaspoon to a gallon of bait.
